-The root word of Discipleship in Greek is Mathetes.

-In Hebrew, Disciple is Talmid.

-In Latin, Disciple is Discipulus.

- The definition of discipleship is someone who follows the teachings and life of another. The biblical definition of disciple is a Christian who is in the process of becoming like Christ.

- John 8;31-32 NLT says, "Jesus said to the people who believed in him, "You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

-True discipleship is to take on the teachings and the characteristics of Jesus. Sometimes we often follow the teachings of man instead of the holy word. We should have a personal relationship with God for ourselves.

- Remember to watch, fast, and pray.
