Healing from Betrayal: Insights from the Bible

Bagad is the Hebrew word for betrayal meaning to act treacherously or break trust.
Prodosia is the Greek word for betrayal.
In the act of betrayal, we must bring our pain directly to God and choosing to forgive as God forgive us. And always sitting healthy boundaries.
Psalms 41:9 Even my close friend in Whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me (betraying me). referring to when Jesus was betrayed.
We often open our hearts to friends, and loved ones that ultimately causes our hearts to break; but we must rely on God doing these times for healing and restoration. It's not always easy because sometimes it's the one's we love most. Remember the word says put no trust in a mortal man (referring to Psalms chp.146).
Brothers and Sisters in Christ we must forgive others and forgive ourselves; and always set healthy boundaries so we won't give place to the devil.
