-Blaspheming in Greek is Vlasfimia.

-Blaspheming in Latin is Blasphemia.

-The meaning of blaspheming is attributing the Holy Ghost to the Devil. It also shows contempt and disrespect for God.

Matthew 12:31-32 KJV Amplified, "Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy (every evil, abusive, injurious speaking, or indignity against sacred things), can be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not and cannot be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the spirit, the holy one, will not be forgiven, either in this world and age or in the world and age to come."

-Other examples of blasphemy is lying to the Holy Ghost. (See Acts 5:1-10)

This is why we have to try the spirit by the spirit of God. Always remember to watch, fast, and pray.
